It was very difficult for me to put this book down. It was such a brutally honest, no holds barred account of pain, grief, fight and triumph. Anyone who has ever dealt with any type of addiction or dysfunction- their own or a loved one's, needs to read this book. Ms.Corcoran demonstrates that the courage and triumph over adversity is won not in sweeping successes, but in minute by minute, daily, relentless efforts- Cecilia J

As the spouse of a sex addict currently in rehab this is a must read. It was very difficult to read. I had to put it down several times and cry to the very depths of my soul. As much as I didn't want to continue to read it I'm so glad I finished the book. Her ordeal gave me hope at the end that maybe there is way back from the awful situation I'm dealing with right now. It will break your heart, make you question every decision you've made or will make. It will give you hope - Kathleen K
